Playstation 4 Launch lifts off in the US and Canada

February now seems so long ago as PS4 hit the West at 12am last night.

November 15th 2013 will see a new chapter in the long Playstation life cycle with many expecting this to be Sony's most successful console launch ever.

We need to sit tight in the UK and Europe for two weeks now, start chalking those days off now!

This is for the Players

Sony have released another great Playstation 4 advert ahead of the European PS4 release.

Take a Look Around the PS4s UI

Sony have released a new video with Eric Lempel taking you through the PS4s new UI.

The video shows off things like the PlayStation Store’s speedy response time (even mid-game), live game broadcasting via Twitch and UStream, and social feeds that show what your friends are buying and watching.

Another new feature worth calling out is Play As You Download, which enables PlayStation Store users to start playing supported games after downloading a portion of the game’s data, leaving the rest of the game to download in the background.

Destiny Beta Available on PS4 first

The Destiny beta will be coming to the PS3 and PS4 before any other console Bungie has announced along with this new trailer:

PS4 Firmware 1.5 adds USB Headset Support

Naughty Dog has confirmed that the next installment of the Uncharted series is coming to the PS4.

"Amy [Hennig, writer of the Uncharted series], Justin [Richmond, game director of Uncharted 3], and the team are hard at work on an amazing new installment of the Uncharted series to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 system, our goal is to continue what we've done in previous console generations and once again deliver the best in storytelling, performance capture, technical innovation and graphics on the PS4. We can confirm that the voiceover is performed by Todd Stashwick and he will play a character in the game."

The Last of Us: Left Behind Single Player DLC Announced

The DLC lets you take control of Ellie for the whole campaign and is set before the events in the main game.

"Ashley Johnson reprises her role as Ellie in The Last of Us: Left Behind single-player DLC, Left Behind takes place while Ellie is attending a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events in the main campaign of The Last of Us."

"Joining Ellie on this new adventure is Riley, her best friend and also a mentor of sorts at the military boarding school. Just as The Last of Us focused on the bond between Ellie and Joel, Left Behind explores the bond between Ellie and Riley through a series of events that will forever change both of their lives."
